Rosa

Rosa, also known in online circles as Desti, was a brazilian programmer, and as personally described, a "girlboss". For her love of technology, Rosa attempted to create a system called "the crimson machine"

alright, enough with the whole "wikipedia article" thing. I'll introduce myself proper now.

Introduction

Hi! I'm Rosa. As you probably have noticed, some of this site is fictional. This will be true for the crimson machine too.

I joined neocities due to my friend weather, and i kinda wanted to build an experience. Something beyond a "personal site", something to be remembered for. however, he and i wanted to build a webring along with our friends, "the reports". Problem is, the crimson machine will take like at least a year or so to build, and we kinda needed a page at that very moment. Originally i settled with a message saying "the crimson machine is yet to be built, come back next millenia", but that was as good as just not having a page. So, at 17/12/2024, i created the low battery rose. Very proud of that name, not gonna lie.

As the wiki section states, i'm a huge fan of technology. At the time of writing, i'm taking a course on systems development along with high school. Along with that, i've been leaing programming by myself ever since 2021, and it has given me a strong sense of purpose. While i specialize in programming, i have some pretty basic knowledge on electronics, as the course i'm taking featured some stuff about that.

Other than that, i'm not the most intriguing person. I dont watch much movies, dont read many books, allat. I stay on the web more. Play games, watch yt videos, etc. Thing is i'm not even really online present, i dont have a twitter, bsky, instagram or tiktok. I just have a discord, and its primarily for just a friend group. I guess if you want to talk to me, thats names_rosa.

To be fair, i spend a lot of my day at school, up to 10 hours a day, and the rest i just talk to my buddies and code sometimes. I do it because i love it. I guess i also like music a lot. It might just be the normal thing ever but i spend a lot of my time just listening to music, but actively. Just stop everything else and go for a listen. I'm a big fan of hip hop and breakcore, primarily listening to tyler the creator and femtanyl. You've probably seen tyler before (check him out if not) but for the love of god listen to femtanyl, i love their music so much. From 13/12/2024 to 17, i think i listened to her albums actually 20 times. Reactor has my soul on a fucking chokehold.
